Who we are?

Telegate 4.0 Consulting IKE is an Information & Communication Technologies SmE (Small Enterprise) established in 2017. 

The company is active in Information and Communication Technologies providing solutions and advising services to Private and Public sector organizations, with special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Cloudification, IoT, Cloud repositories, Sensing and Dataset acquisition.

Through the past years the company has been involved in several research and innovation projects (National and EU). Some of the thematic areas included cybersecurity, personal data privacy-preservation systems, edge-computing, AI/ML for precision farming among others. Professional contracts have been drawn with public organizations (Research Institutes) relating to farming industries, food industries supply chains, as well as private organizations requiring support on sensing and sensor data collection configurations.

Telegate 4.0 has a vibrant management team of trained Electrical/Electronic and Software Engineers, with strong Graduate Research studies, as well as a large network of experienced senior Consultants & Engineers with a track record exceeding 30-Years of involvement in Research & Development at International (EU) contracts.

    Maria Theologou

    Managing Director
    Maria is a Computer Science and Engineering expert (B.Sc./M.Sc., University of Patras; M.Sc. in Computational Linguistics, NTUA) with over three decades of professional experience in the technology sector. Her career spans software engineering and quality assurance roles at INTRASOFT International, Citibank, and Systema Technologies, before progressing into executive leadership at Nydor System Technologies and, since 2017, at Telegate 4.0, where she serves as Managing Director. Maria combines deep technical expertise with proven business acumen to drive the company's strategic vision and innovation initiatives.

  • Dimitrios-Tilemachos Davarakis

    Dimitrios-Tilemachos Davarakis

    AI Solutions – Design & Development
    Dimitrios is a Computer Scientist (B.Sc. Athens University of Economics and Business AUEB, Greece) and AI specialist (M.Sc., University College Dublin UCD, Ireland) currently a PhD candidate at UCD's School of Biosystems and Food Engineering. His research leverages AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning to advance biosystems applications particularly in precision farming and viticulture. As a research team member at Telegate 4.0, he delivers focused R&I solutions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and real-world biosystems.

  • Theodoros (Thirimachos) Davarakis

    Theodoros (Thirimachos) Davarakis

    Partner – Research & Innovation
    Thirimachos brings a rare interdisciplinary profile to Telegate 4.0, combining Computer Science and Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc., NTUA, Greece) with Philosophy and Logic (B.A./M.A., KU Leuven, Belgium). Currently a PhD candidate at Northeastern University (Boston, USA), he leads contributions in strategic research planning and the design of advanced, trustworthy AI enablers—drawing on both technical expertise and a rigorous foundation in reasoning and ethics.
